Call for comments and expressions of interest

arc has established Clinical Studies Groups (CSGs) in seven areas of pathology relevant to its mission, to provide strategic leadership to prioritise clinical trials and related studies.  These priorities are also helping shape the National Institute for Health Research musculoskeletal research strategy.

Over the past 12 months the groups have through a variety of processes developed outline strategies. In many cases these are sufficiently advanced to begin developing specific proposals for submission to arc for funding.

The CSGs now seek input and participation from the wider musculoskeletal community, and in particular:

  1. Invite comments in any form on the strategic discussions achieved to date. Comments are welcomed at any time.
  2. Invite initial expressions of interest to help develop the priorities listed into fundable proposals. Please click here for the 'Expression of interest form'. The CSGs particularly welcome interest from those who would like to lead on developing a proposal, and will offer help, expertise and support in producing a fundable proposal.
